• Overview
The WellTools Internal Dimple Connector provides a method of attaching the Bottom Hole Assembly to the coil whilst having an outside diameter no bigger than the coil itself. This allows both for easier spooling and the ability to run a slick BHA. The dimples allow the connector to effectively transmit both torque and tensile loads.
Installation can be achieved either manually using a jig incorporating a torque converter to reduce the effort required to dimple the coil, or by use of a hydraulic installation tool. |
