• Overview
The WellTools Flow Release GS Pulling Tool provides a reliable method of attaching to and retrieving tools with an internal GS style neck. To release the tool from the fish, simply set down weight on the BHA and increase the fluid flowrate through the tool. The flow through the tool and the removable orifice creates a back-pressure within the tool which acts on an internal pressure area causing the grapple to retract into the release position. The orifice is easily accessible and can be changed so that the release pressure is attained at the desired flowrate.
