The WellTools Flow Release Overshot allows the operator to effectively retrieve tools from the wellbore by engaging an external diameter which has no fish neck profile.
An extended latch grapple section distributes the load over an increased area of the fish which reduces the likelihood of premature release due to the collapse of the fish. This is extremely important when running the Overshot below a jarring assembly.
